I absolutely love blogging! Currently, I have three blogs. Each covers a different aspect of my life. One focuses on my faith, the other about me as a parent and the last one is about anything that interests me. All of them are in blogspot. I prefer blogspot to wordpress because I find it is easier to use and customize. Just about a month ago, I started monetizing this blog. I am sure a lot of you have noticed that with the paid posts I’ve written. I’ve earned money and I am very happy about it. Blogging is both fun and lucrative. And now its time to take my blog to a whole new level- getting my own domain!
I’ve been looking around and reading about getting your own domain and how web hosting works. Having your own domain sounds more professional and most advertisers prefer sites that are web hosted rather than in free platforms. Webhostinggeeks.com is a recommended site to visit when shopping around for affordable professional web hosting services. Very user-friendly and easy to navigate, it features the top ten web hosting companies in their main page and the services it offers. The “Learn more about website hosting” portion also on their main page is very useful for novice webmasters like me. It gives the 101 on the topic.
Their web hosting reviews are written by customers of different hosting sites. We are sure that these reviews are unbiased and reliable because it came from consumers like us. Each web hosting company is rated according to tech/customer support, software, traffic, reliability and uptime, space, price, quality and user-friendliness. Do you want to be up to date on industry news, trends, products and discussions? Then check out their web hosting blog. It is sure to give up to date information webmasters would want to know.
I am thinking of purchasing a domain name from google for my parenting blog. As for this blog, From the Eyes of my Heart, I think I’d like it to be web hosted professionally in the near future.
