There are still a couple of things left to be done in preparation for Nigel’s coming. I got four more feeding bottles to sterilize and some crib comforters to wash. Actually, I’ve been bugging Butch to do the washing. It’s hard for me to wash heavy garments like that because my tummy is in the way. The crib isn’t ready either. We still have to clean it and attach the upper deck where Nigel will lay sleeping.
I had another baby dream last night. I dreamt that Nigel was too big and none of the tie-side shirts I bought fit him! In the dream he also didn’t like me and my mom was the one taking care of him! It was a horrible dream I know. My mind is so pre-occupied with preparing and preparing some more. I guess this is what people call “Nesting”. Pregnant women who are about to give birth soon experience a boost of energy they can use to prepare for the li’l baby’s arrival.
I will do my walking later in the mall. I will need to do it earlier so I can go home before dark. People will be celebrating New Year’s Eve with fire crackers, fireworks and stuff. I don’t want to get stuck in the streets with all that noise and smoke.
All the walking I am doing to encourage labor seems to be working. I’ve noticed that Nigel has significantly lowered yesterday. I could actually give birth anytime!
Tomorrow, New Year’s day, my family will be going to my dad’s hometown in Pampanga. We will be visiting relatives there. I am not sure if I’ll go with them though. I don’t want to go into labor in a place far away from my hospital. Nevertheless, my OB-GYN will also be there because she’s a dear cousin of mine. I guess I am safe then. My dad also said that there are decent hospitals nearby. And according to Amy first time moms take long in labor. If ever I get the contractions, there will be enough time for me to reach my hospital here in Manila.
Oh well, back to sterilizing bottles… while blogging =)

Here's a prayer for your safe delivery: Dear Lord please take care of Wendy and Nigel. We commit them both in your loving hands. We know you will take care of all their needs. Let both of them be safe and sound and let Wendy have a safe and normal delivery. Let Nigel come out strong, normal and healthy, and let your ministering angels take care of all their needs. Guide the hands of her ob-gyne with your loving hands and grant her wisdom to do the delivery in a normal and safe way. This we pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen. God bless you all always.
God bless you and your family. Your life will be fruitful this year.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
