Whenever I feel really down, sometimes I write my own Psalm-like thingie. I think I’ve shared one I’ve written before in this blog. Here’s another one I wrote about two years ago. I was going through my journal and found this. It encouraged me when I read it. I hope it will encourage you too!
The Lord is too wonderful to be missed!
Blessed is the person who submits to the Him.
She is like a person who has found a diamond while walking in the street.
Trust in the Lord
Because it is He who sees and gives you a good future
Trust in His great love and wisdom
Do not sin in complaining about how
Things are not understandable or confusing.
“You are exactly where I want you to be.” Says the Lord.
I may have revealed to you what my plans are.
I may have told you that it’s time to work for it
But you can only get there,
in my own way, in my own time not through your efforts
I only ask you to obey and trust me.
Do not struggle in making it happen
Remain in me.
Focus on me and it shall take place.
I will bless the work of your hands and you will forget
The suffering you’ve endure.
Blessed is the person who submits to the Him.
She is like a person who has found a diamond while walking in the street.
Trust in the Lord
Because it is He who sees and gives you a good future
Trust in His great love and wisdom
Do not sin in complaining about how
Things are not understandable or confusing.

That's beautiful. Especially the sentence: 'You are exactly where I want you to be.'
That's a great thought.

Awesome Wendy. That's indeed a heart overflowing of love and praises for our King.
A few months ago, I found an online study on " A Wife's Biblical Submission" I am really blessed by taking the journey of studying God's word on being a wife and woman. It's great how our loving God lead study to initiate this meaningful and precious study.
You may find it at:www.biblicalsubmission.blogspot.com
Continue to share your heart so in love and in awe with the Lord so others will continuously be blessed by it.
Beautiful day to you Woman of God.
"As if I asked a common alms,
And in my wondering hand
A stranger pressed a kingdom,
And I, bewildered, stand..."
These lines from Emily Dickinson perfectly sum up that feeling when 'god' touches me and I 'know' that there's more to life than the things our senses register, more than we are able to study and measure.
I'm not a Christian - I don't subscribe to any religion per se - but that isn't to say I'm not a spiritual person.
You always sound so happy and sure that you're on the right road, and I envy you a little, but am also happy for you.
Take care, my little friend in spirit. :-)
Beautiful. Thanks for the reminder of some great promises.
hi, sister. nice thoughts. i agree that finding God is like finding a rare treasure that's worth more that our lives.
If we have God in our hearts we have joy deep within. Sure, we will still face trials and hardship but we can overcome all of those. As it is said in Phil. 4:13 "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me."
God bless.
trust in Him it is.. =)
