Yesterday, January 13, 2009 was the 2nd year anniversary of my marriage to Butch. During our first year anniversary, we celebrated it by going on a three-day trip to Bohol. It’s been one year of enjoying and adjusting to the married life. And now, we are more than ready and very excited to take our marriage to the next level- having a baby. For anyone who’s planning to get married, I highly recommend waiting a year or two to have children. This will give you and your hubby time to get to know each other while living in one roof and just take pleasure in each other’s company.
If we were not expecting Nigel to come, we’d probably celebrate this year by going to Boracay. We could have used the round trip tickets Butch won in an office raffle. But since I am expected to go into labor anytime, we opted to go on a mall date instead. Butch took a day off from work and we spent the whole afternoon in Asia’s “largest” and “most entertaining” mall- SM Mall of Asia. We had lunch in a Japanese themed restaurant called Terriyaki Boy. Since I am still watching my blood sugar, I let Butch have most of my rice. I am beginning to love Japanese food! Its flavor is subtle yet very tasty. We wanted to watch a movie but there was nothing that caught mine or his fancy. We just strolled and looked around inside the mall. By 4pm, we went out to see the view of Manila Bay. I was very surprised to see there were lots of people even though it was a weekday. I walked the length of the bay as Butch took snapshots of anything he could find interesting. I still do my 1-2 hours walk everyday to help Nigel settle into my pelvis. Manila Bay with its fresh air and entertaining sights and sound was a perfect venue for that. There was heavy traffic on the way home must be because everybody else was also going home from work. I am not sure if it was a sign of impending labor but I had painful Braxton Hicks contractions last night. Nigel was also moving around in between contractions. Oh well, I’ll be going to my OB-GYN later, we’ll see if I’ve dilated.

Happy Second Anniversary of your wedding. I pray to the Lord that your relationship will last forever and that you will always be in love with each other. Now that Nigel is coming, there will be a new dimension in your lives. You will be complete as a family. May the Lord bless your family with love and respect for one another. The food looks really yummy. It's really tempting since I am on a one week fasting as per our church pronouncement. I am affiliated with Christ Commission Fellowship and we have a nationwide and worldwide fast for one week and oh boy, your pictures almost came out alive at my monitor. He,he,he, Haaaaaah, Pardon if my tongue just came out. He,he,he, Thanks for the post. God bless you all always. BTW, I am praying for your safe and normal delivery. This I pray heavenly Father in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Hi Wendy,
You are tagged at my K.I.S.S. blog. I don't normally do tags especially if it's about me personally but this one is different and I can't resist doing it since it's a Christian tag. I always want to spread God's message of love around the world. Please do the tag not for me but for Christ. Thank you very much and God bless you always.
